Today I will be doing a tutorial on a polymer clay dinosaur! This is the first version and I got this idea from CupCakeIsDead on youtube. This is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoSdyg5HCCo I hope you like it!!!!
Materials:
- Oven-Bake polymer clay of 2 different colors.
- Black Oven-Bake polymer clay
- Eye ring (Optional)
Steps:
- Take your main piece of clay and roll it into 2 balls. One should be a little bigger than the other one.
- Take the small ball and flatten it down a little bit. This will be the body.
- Attach the larger ball to the top of the small one. This will be the head.
- Make four equal small balls. These will be the arms and legs.
- Attach the small balls to the body.
- Make a small snake (a little fatter than usual) and attach it to the back of the dino. This will be the tail.
- Take your other color and make some small triangle pieces. These will be the spikes.
- Attach the spikes to the head of the dino.
- Make two tiny balls of black clay and flatten them. These will be the eyes.
- Attach the eyes to the front of the head.
- If you want the dino to be a charm no is the time to attach the eye pin!
- Bake and you're finished!
This is what mine looked like!
