Hi there,
This is a tutorial on a polymer clay dinosaur! I got this idea from yummycharms on youtube. This is the link to that video:

  • Black Oven-Bake polymer clay
  • Glaze (Optional)
  • Eye pin (Optional)

Steps:
  1. Take your body color of clay and roll it into a ball.
  2. Make the ball into a teardrop shape by lightly rolling the back.
  3. Make four small balls.
  4. Attach them to the body and flatten them down a bit.
  5. Take your other color and make small triangle pieces out of them.
  6. Attach these pieces to the top of the head going down the back.
  7. Make two small balls from black clay and attach to the front of the head.
  8. Put in the eye pin.
  9. BAKE!
  10. If you want to you can glaze it once it's cool.

Polymer Clay Marbles

Hola amigos,
Today I will be doing the easiest tutorial ever! Polymer clay marbles rock! If you thought making stuff from clay was hard, think again! I promise the only way you could fail at this is if you don't try.

Materials:

  • Two colors of Oven-Bake polymer clay
  • Glaze (Optional)

Steps:

  1. Take your two colours of clay and cut two equal slices off. They don't have to be to big because you will put the parts together.
  2. Work each of the pieces of clay separately. (Mash, smash and smush)
  3. Now mush them together and gently knead them together. DO NOT fully mix the colors because you want a cool multi color.
  4. Roll this weird color in to a ball the size of a large shooter marble or make a few small ones.
  5. BAKE!
  6. Once it's cool you can decide whether or not to glaze them. Glazing will make them shiny.

You can also try to use more than two colors or even use one.

Materials:

  • Oven-Bake polymer clay of 2 different colors.
  • Black Oven-Bake polymer clay
  • Eye ring (Optional)
Steps:
  1. Take your main piece of clay and roll it into 2 balls. One should be a little bigger than the other one.
  2. Take the small ball and flatten it down a little bit. This will be the body.
  3. Attach the larger ball to the top of the small one. This will be the head.
  4. Make four equal small balls. These will be the arms and legs.
  5. Attach the small balls to the body.
  6. Make a small snake (a little fatter than usual) and attach it to the back of the dino. This will be the tail.
  7. Take your other color and make some small triangle pieces. These will be the spikes.
  8. Attach the spikes to the head of the dino.
  9. Make two tiny balls of black clay and flatten them. These will be the eyes.
  10. Attach the eyes to the front of the head.
  11. If you want the dino to be a charm no is the time to attach the eye pin!
  12. Bake and you're finished!
This is what mine looked like!
